I’m often asked what insurance I take at Limitless.
It’s a great question! And something I love talking about because, well…I do things a little different at my Physical Therapy clinic.
The reason I became a Physical Therapist was to help inspire people to move more and limit less.
The Limitless Origin Story
I know that sounds cliche. All healthcare pros get into their field because they want to “help people”. But here’s the thing: I went through a significant lower back injury in my teens. I went through the “typical” medical process of having an MRI, hearing scary words from an Orthopedic specialist, medication, and then the suggestion that I could try physical therapy first before “we look at our other options”. I was terrified and honestly nervous for what my future would look like in the physical state I was in.
Looking back at it now, the Physical Therapist I worked with in Orrville, Ohio (I wish I could remember his name) changed my life forever. He taught me how to fix my own body with movement & mobility. He taught me lessons about the amazing potential that our bodies hold for healing and adaptation. I didn’t know it at the time, but he inspired me to be able to teach that to other people. On a deeper level, he taught me that there’s no need to be hopeless when you’re dealing with a physical pain or problem. There’s always a way.
And now? Now my back is healthier than it’s ever been.
I do CrossFit 3-5 times per week.
I throw my kids high up into the air and lift heavy things proudly throughout the day…because I know what not being able to do those things feels like.
I’m eternally grateful for what that Physical Therapist taught me 20 years ago, and for what I’ve learned along the way in my own educational journey.
So Why Did I Start Limitless Physio?
Because there is a dangerous trend happening right now in “Health”care. Healthcare professionals are increasingly seeing huge cuts in reimbursement from insurances, which is driving the trend to see many more patients to maintain profit margins. We’re less and less incentivized to put our patients first, and are more and more incentivized to be compliant to sometimes ridiculous authorization processes and an almost constant “are you done with this patient yet?!?” pressure from insurance companies that are paying the bills.
This is just scratching the surface of the current healthcare and health insurance climate.
Physical Therapists are now often regularly being required to see 20-30 patients in a day in the typical clinic. They are being asked to see their patients for as many visits as possible, and all the while are able to spend less and less time actually 1-on-1 with their patients.
Two years ago when I started Limitless Physio, I had to stop that.
Patients get better when clinicians are able to be completely attentive to their care (whether rehabilitation, prehab, sport performance, or any other reason you’re seeing me). Patients get better when I’m able to research their condition after-hours and put thorough time into developing the best plan of care possible. Patients get better when they feel they have a relationship and find their PT to be trustworthy.
So I Went Out-of-Network…
It was time for something to change. Two years ago I made the jump to create Limitless Physio, LLC, and I’m excited to be able to now offer Physical Therapy, Performance Optimization, Recovery, Prehab, and much much more at my own office!
My goal was to offer the absolute BEST possible care in the greater Rochester Hills area…
So I took Limitless completely Out-of-Network! And it’s been a fantastic move.

5 Reasons Why Limitless Physio Is The New Premier Physical Therapy Clinic in Detroit Metro
This is going to be amazing for both of us, read on for all of the benefits…but first check out this video below for a little bit about why 100% attentiveness and a 1-on-1 environment is how your PT experience should be…
Here’s what you get (and more!) when your Healthcare Provider is in charge (instead of your Healthcare Insurance)…
(1) Exclusive 1-on-1 Treatment
Your Physical Therapy experience will always be 1-on-1 for an entire hour (or more if you need!).
Always focused on your goals and getting you to where you need to be.
(2) I’ll Work FOR YOU, NOT Your Insurance Company
Regulation and red tape constantly frustrate In-Network practices and can make your experience miserable sometimes. Let me go to work for YOU, and let’s get you the manual therapy, exercise, fitness, nutrition, and holistic approach that you need to reach your goals.
(3) Unlimited Access to a Doctor of Physical Therapy
During the entire course of your care, I’m just a phone call away.
As a client, you will have unlimited access to me via Phone call, Text, or Video conference. Get your questions answered; and get the support that you deserve during your rehab or performance journey.
(4) LESS Expensive Than Normal Physical Therapy
Deductibles are on the rise. And with the “typical” physical therapy clinic seeing you 3 times per week for a month or more, you will likely already be paying a significant amount of money “out of pocket”. What would rather spend your healthcare dollars on?
My patients only require 1-2 visits per week on average. With an hour of 1-on-1 time and remote access, we can accomplish a LOT more than usual, and typically see significant relief and return to normal in less time than traditional physical therapy clinics.
While you will pay directly for your Physical Therapy services in this Out-of-Network model, all appointments are eligible for HSA funds (as well as any credit/debit card or cash/check).
(5) Non-Medical Feel
Hate medical-feeling environments that make you feel like you’re broken down, diseased, and forgotten? So do we.
Limitless does things a little different.
Our clinic is located inside of CrossFit Reviver, a more than 8,500 square foot fitness facility. Your privacy and rehab needs will all be take care of, but without that “medical” feel that hospitals and typical clinics sometimes create.

Here’s an infographic that summarizes some of the main benefits of working with an Out-of-Network or Private-Pay practice:
There will be some individuals who have the [ultimate] insurance policy with a low deductible, low co-insurance, and a high number of physical therapy visits allowed per year. If you have that kind of fantastic insurance and would rather use it, I fully understand and have another great option for you.
I have partnered with a great team of therapists and staff at Clint Verran Sports Medicine, and am able to see you in a 30-minute time slot and we will bill your insurance directly at that location as an In-Network provider for many insurances.
